Berlin Little League Field Lighting Fund

The Board of Directors of Berlin Little League would like to invite you to help support our newest project.

Berlin Little League continues to grow and serve our community by providing baseball and softball programs to boys and girls of Northern Worcester County. The league has programs that serve over 500 children ages 4-16 years old. Our league is truly invested in the youth community and needs community support to help continue the growth and goals of the organization. With an increase in demand and limited youth fields available in the area, our league has started a campaign to raise $100,000 to install lights on our fields – located at the Northern Worcester Athletic Complex off RR 113 in Berlin. The field lighting project will help provide more game times needed to support the increasingly growing league while also upgrading the facility to compete as one of the region’s best sports complexes. In addition to bringing great hometown pride in our complex, lights will provide lifelong memories and experience for the kids to play a game “Under the Lights”.

In addition, better fields and amenities will help attract more teams and tournaments to the complex, which in turn brings more people and money to support the local economy. Lastly, Berlin Little League is being considered as a host site for a Regional tournament starting in 2018. This event would bring ESPN televised games and great notoriety to both Berlin and all of Worcester County. Our hope is that with better facility upgrades, the selection committee will choose our location, which will, in turn, help us to support and promote Worcester County.
